Community Sharps Management Grants Program
Funding is available to Councils for the development or
enhancement of community sharps management programs. An
initiative of NSW Health and the Local Government and Shires
Associations of NSW, this program provides funding for :
* purchase &
installation of community sharps disposal bins
* disposal costs
(conditions apply)
* trialling
community sharps management initiatives
* publication of
resources promoting safe disposal practice
* development and
printing of resources promoting safe disposal practice
